Shipping
We try to ship all orders within 1-3 days from the order date. Orders containing items that need refrigeration placed Thursday - Sunday are held until the beginning of the following week to prevent spoilage in transit.
We ship using UPS and periodic discounted shipping offers are only valid in the lower 48 continental US. If you have any questions, please contact us.
Terms and Conditions of Sale and Shipping of Alcoholic Beverages
You (the buyer) and any alternate recipient must be 21 years of age to order or receive alcoholic beverages from The Spanish Table. The buyer certifies that they and any recipient are 21 years of age and by making a purchase, the buyer agrees to these Terms & Conditions. All shipments containing alcoholic beverages require an adult signature and will be shipped with an 'Adult Signature Required' sticker. We may ask or use a system to verify the buyer's age and the common carrier that delivers our merchandise is required to ask and check for identification upon delivery
We currently ONLY ship wine to the following states AK, CA, CT, FL, ID, LA, NE, NV, NH, NM, ND, OR, PR, VA, D.C, WV, VA, WY. We currently DO NOT SHIP beer. ALL beer sold on this site is for in-store pickup at one of our San Francisco Bay Area stores only.
For any order containing alcoholic beverages to be shipped to a state not listed above, we reserve the right to modify or cancel the order, removing the alcoholic beverage products from the order and refunding any charges for alcoholic products and their shipping. For mixed orders containing alcoholic and non-alcoholic products, the purchaser agrees that the non-alcoholic portion of the order will remain in effect even if alcoholic beverage items are removed from the order. By placing an order, the customer warrants that they are aware of and in compliance of the laws governing said shipment into their area and that the sale may not be final if it violates laws governing said shipment.
The Spanish Table assumes no liability for any wine damage due to poor weather during transport. This can include leakage, freezing or corks pushed out of the neck. The customer assumes all liability for the wine once it has been picked up by the common carrier. Be sure that weather are suitable before shipping and pick the proper shipping method (Ground, 3-day, 2-day, etc) based on your location. All orders are shipped from our Berkeley, CA location. The Spanish Table will hold orders upon request due to weather conditions, please contact us to make arrangements as necessary. We want you to receive your shipment in the same condition it left our store, so that it can be enjoyed properly.
Return Shipment Policy
Please contact us at (510) 548-1383 before shipping any items to be returned so that we may determine the best method for return. We neither accept nor pay for unauthorized returns. Upon express written return authorization from The Spanish Table, unused items in new condition may be returned within 30 days of receipt. Any shipping costs associated with a return are the buyer's responsibility. We cannot accept ANY alcoholic beverage returns.
