Don Gonzalo oloroso 20 years, quickly disappeared when we bought a bottle for the house. The dark mahogany color is a reflection of the extended time in solera this dry oloroso sees. I love the nose on this with aromas of caramel, old oak, resin, black walnuts and just a hint of prune or dried figs. Plush and velvety on the palate with flavors of crystallized citrus zest and caramelized black walnuts with tang, focus and lingering orange notes on the finish. This is delicious and way too easy to drink on its own. Decanter Magazine rated this outstanding and gave it 18.5 out of a possible 20 pts.
