Palacio de Fefinanes is without a doubt one of the top Albarinos in Spain and you'll find it on many of Spain's top wine lists. Located in the heart of Cambados in Rias Baixas, this producer, one of the oldest in the area, dates back to the early part of the 20th century. Delicious with great intensity of flavor. Notes of orchard fruit, lime blossom and zest, mineral and white melon. A finish that is long and stony and precise with lingering notes of lime. Really impressive wine that continues to be a staff and customer favorite.
Regarding the 2019, Luis Gutierez of The Wine Advocate wrote, "The regular Albarino is one of the most reliable among the more
available wines, and it tends to show well early on and also age nicely
for a few years in bottle." We totally agree with that statement regarding pretty much every year.
