- While most Vinho Verdes are made from a blend of many different varietals, this wine is 100% Alvarinho (aka Albarino in Spain), which in turn allows for a more focused array of fruit flavors and mineral undertones. This mono-varietal wine sees extensive skin contact (thus its name!) giving it a greater depth and rich texture while still maintaining the signature thirst-quenching freshness we've come to expect from the region.
