Bodegas Arzuaga is very well known in Spain for many reasons, not least that they are literal next door neighbors to famed Vega Sicilia. But it's their wine that has garnered them fame. The crianza from Arzuaga is found in many restaurants throughout the country. It's predominately Tempranillo with a little bit of Cabernet Sauvignon and is full bodied with a core of smoky dark fruit and notes of chocolate, spice and a hint of vanilla. Good density and fullness.
"The bouquet is full of fragrant black fruits, cinnamon, cumin and Frankincense, the palate beautifully fleshy and textured, carrying cigar box, vanilla, blueberry and silky tannins through to a lingering, richly-fruited, finish. Such refined elegance! Outstanding." Platinum award winner and 97 points Decanter Magazine 20201 World Wine Awards
