IInexpensive Albarinos don't always tick all the boxes of what we're looking for in Albarino, but the Benito Santos Saiar definitely does. It's tasty and very enjoyable and has a slight saline edge that brings precision and focus to the fruit. Eric Asimov of the New York Times stated, "Itís tense, alive and vibrant, floral and saline with a lively citrus
tinge. When I drink this, I find myself craving oysters and clams on the
half-shell," regarding the 2018 vintage. It's also made with organically grown grapes.
