- La Leyenda is a producer of cheese in La Mancha, the area that is famous for Manchego. This is made the same way that a young Manchego would be except with dark veins of black truffle criss-cross the interior of this pretty cheese, infusing yet not overpowering the classic nutty, buttery flavors of a fine sheep's-milk cheese with the warm earthiness of truffle. Each piece is cut to weigh approximately a half pound and then vacuum sealed. We do our best to provide the closest weight possible.PLEASE NOTE: This item is perishable and must be keep cool during shipping. We ship perishable items with frozen gel packs, paper, and bubble wrap, which will keep them stable for a maximum of 3 days.
