Details: Lustau's Almacenista line of sherries are aged by smaller wineries, referred to as Almacenistas in Spanish (Almacen means storehouse or warehouse). This one is aged by Juan Garcia Jarana and has wonderful richness and density while still very dry. Pata de Gallina refers to oloroso sherries that display an above average richness and smoothness, due to high levels of glycerol. This is very concentrated with hints of pipe tobacco, walnuts and a hint of roasted coffee and citrus.
