Tondonia is a famed single vineyard in Rioja. The Tondonia style exhibits a bit more structure and mineral character than it's richer, fruitier sibling Bosconia. Tondonia wines are more reminiscent of Bordeaux, while Bosconia is more Burgundian in style. Notes of dried plum, earth, spice, leather and dried herbs and tobacco. Vanilla, dried fruit and spice finish with bright acidity and lingering fruit and earth.
