Valdespino has wine making roots that stretch back to the 1400's. Their Deliciosa Manzanilla is aged in their old bodega in the center of Sanlucar de Barrameda. It spends longer in the solera than is typicaly for many manzanillas and has a more assertive flavor than many. Hints of olive brine, blanched almonds, an herbal note and distinct mineral driven tartness that makes you imagine the salty ocean breeze blowing in from the Atlantic.
