- Mariano Garcia is one of Spain's most famous and highly regarded winemakers. He was the man behind Spain's most famous wine, Vega Sicilia for almost 30 years. Aalto is a newer project for Garcia and his business partner Javier Zaccagnini in Ribera del Duero. The wine, produced in limited quantities, is rich, earthy and expressive of the Ribera del Duero region. Old vine fruit is carefully selected for this rightfully famous wine that always receives high praise and high scores from the wine press. And it is highly popular with our customers.
