Three Sisters Artisanal Meats is located nearby in Richmond CA, and headed by Jaime Fernandez, a third-generation embutidor (charcuterie maker). He follows in the footsteps of his father and both grandfathers, making delicious chorizo from an old Castilian family recipe. He uses only all-natural ingredients, including locally forest-raised pigs.
This chorizo is rich and flavorful, with a coarser, more rustic grind than our other chorizos. There's a little bit of heat for those who like it spicy. It's perfect for tapas and paellas, but it might be even better all on its own - chop, pan-crisp in red wine, and enjoy!
