Quinta do Infantado is a small estate owned by the Roseira family in the Douro Valley in Portugal. They produce wines on a small scale using only the fruit from their own vineyards, foot trodden in old granite lagares and aged on the property. The house style tends toward the dry side of the spectrum, giving the Infantado wines more elegance and balance than is typical of the region. Quinta do Infantado 10 year Tawny, made up of a blend of wines with an average age of 10 years (some older, some younger) displays a mix of sweet raisin and toasted almond aroma and flavor. This is a perfect after dinner drink.
