- We discovered Verde Divino olive oils almost by accident in Madrid at a food show. It's hard to stand out when you're surrounded by the best of the best from everywhere, but they did. We are excited to be able to introduce them to the US market. Try all 3 varieties: Picual, Organic Picual, and Arbequina.
Aceites Moral / Verde Divino is located in Jaen, in Andalucia, where olive groves roll out past the horizon... This is from their Early Harvest line of Extra-Virgin Olive Oils, made from the very first-picked olives of each season. The early olives are greener and fruitier than those harvested later, often finishing with a hint of spiciness.These characteristics are especially true of the Picual olive, which is often blended with other, milder olives to give them a bit more kick. Here it shines on its own. Bitterness and spiciness are harmoniously balanced, with an aroma of olive leaves, almond, and artichoke. - Reviews
