Bodegas Arzuaga is very well known in Spain for many reasons, not least that they are literal next door neighbors to famed Vega Sicilia. But it's their wine that has garnered them fame. The crianza from Arzuaga is found in many restaurants throughout the country. It's 100% tempranillo and is full bodied with a core of smoky dark fruit and notes of chocolate, spice and a hint of vanilla. Good density and fullness.
This shows aromas of dark plums, bitter chocolate and
vanilla. Full and round body with velvety tannins and good balance." 90 pts James Suckling
