Gonzalez Byss resurrected a recipe from the end of the 1800's to bring this vermouth (vermut) back on the market. Vermouth La Copa is made out of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez soleras
of over 8 years, together with a combination of
botanicals such as wormwood, savory, clove, orange peel, cinnamon,
nutmeg, angelica and cinchona bark and other botanicals. This is delicious. It has some sweetness, but it not cloying and the orange and baking spice notes are delicious on their own or in a mixed drink.
