A long time friend and former employee (he was the Sunday wine guy in Berkeley for years) is behind this naturally petillant Albarino. His time in the store inspired and helped grow his love of Spanish wine and all things Spanish. This is inspired by his work at The Spanish Table and we're proud of him and his success! And glad we can support him by selling this wine.
The wine is made naturally and isn't filtered so you will see some sediment in the wine. It's made in partnership with Ryan Stirm of Stirm Wine Co and the fruit hails two vineyards in Santa Ynez. It's got albarino characteristic and a little bit of funk, but not in a bad way. Tart and bracing, this is incredibly refreshing on a hot day.
