The Pago de los Capellanes Crianza is a popular Ribera del Duero with rich, full fruit but relatively lithe on the pallet. This wine has a deep ruby color, and it is aromatic with notes of cherry, rosemary, and anise. On the palate, it has flavors of raspberry and cherry, a touch of peppercorn and sweet licorice, with chewy tannins. The red fruit and licorice characteristics continue in the long finish. 

Pago de Los Capellanes routinely score well into the 90 point range and every vintage is amazing.  They sell out in our shops quickly when we can get them, so we recommend buying a few bottles at a time.
