Kopke dates back to 1638 and is the oldest port house in the Douro. The 2005 Colheita has just reached its teenage years. This still has some youthful fruit with notes of spiced cherry and plum, but also starts to show its evolution with some nuttiness, brown sugar, citrus, dried apricot and caramel.
