It is 100% Baga, a quirky, unique grape variety found only in this region. Its prominent acidity and red fruit aromatic attack remind one of Pinot Noir, but its focused and brisk tannins set it on a different plateau. Layers of earthiness, savory notes, and notes of dried rose petals with a return on the finish of crisp, demonstrative fruit leave a whole host of food-pairing possibilities.
