Brilliant ruby-red. Fragrant red berry and candied rose scents, with hints of vanilla and cured tobacco in the background. Silky, sweet and open-knit on entry, but the sappy raspberry and cherry flavors tighten up in the mid-palate. Shows very good clarity and lift on the clinging finish, which is framed by supple, slow-building tannins.
